Useful tools. No paywall.
Choose a tool to jump straight to the workspace. You can also load the sample dataset to try everything without preparing a file.
Your data workspace
Load a CSV, TSV, TXT or JSON file, or start with the built-in example.
Apply cleaning steps to the dataset currently in memory. Export a cleaned copy when finished.
Quality is discussed through the issues most often flagged in your dataset. The first priority is the single issue pattern with the highest count, followed by the other leading patterns, the columns most affected and the severity mix. A high count is a signal to investigate, not proof that every flagged value is wrong.
Detailed consistency findings and custom validation rules are part of this Quality & Consistency workspace. Findings are evidence-based checks, not proof that every unusual value is wrong.
Custom validation rules
Add business-specific checks. Rules are applied only when you run the scanner and are not used to alter the source data.
Detected issues
Select a numeric column to calculate descriptive statistics. Values that cannot be read as numbers are ignored.
Create a multi-chart dashboard from one dataset. Each chart uses the full width of the chart workspace (the space previously shared by two side-by-side charts). Complete cleaning and the consistency scan first, then choose which flagged record types to exclude before creating charts. Everything is drawn locally in your browser.
Prepare the data for charting
Run these steps in order. The chart filter becomes available after the working copy has been cleaned and the consistency scan has finished.
Run cleaning and consistency scan to unlock
Convert the current table to CSV or JSON. JSON output is an array of objects using the column names as keys.
Conversion preview
Load a dataset to see the converted output.
Create a masked working copy by replacing every value in one selected column. Export the result when ready.

The tools on this page are designed to run in your browser. The page does not send selected datasets or scan findings to a DataRead server or an external processing API.
Files are read by your browser. Cleaning, consistency checks, calculations, conversion and chart creation happen on your device.
No sign-up, database, paid API or server-side dataset processing is needed to use these tools. Consistency scans run locally in your browser.

Frequently asked questions
Are these tools really free?
Yes. This page has no paid API, subscription, account system or server-side processing requirement. You can host it as a static website on a free hosting plan subject to that provider's limits.
Are my uploaded files sent online?
No. The file is read by your browser and processed in the current page session. It is not uploaded by this page. Avoid using a shared or untrusted device for confidential information.
Which files are supported?
CSV, TSV, plain-text delimited files and JSON arrays of objects. Very large files may be limited by the memory and performance of your device and browser.
What does the open-source licence cover?
The original page source, including the consistency scanner, is released under the MIT License included with this package. No third-party JavaScript libraries are required or bundled.
Does this replace professional analytics software?
No. These are lightweight utilities for common tasks. Use a validated analytical workflow for regulated, high-impact or business-critical decisions.
Can I use these tools on a phone?
The page is responsive and can be opened on a phone, but larger datasets are easier to inspect on a desktop or laptop.
